Running has been my passion for as long as I can remember, that is until I met Solvyn in 2020. Meeting him has been the biggest turning point in my life. How I used to train and run before and how I do so now are so distinct and different that I can divide my running career into two parts: Before Solvyn and After Solvyn. Through his dedicated and rigorous workout routines, my health, well-being and running performance have had a drastic transformation which cannot be conveyed in words. I feel more active, more agile and more healthy everyday. My advice to anyone interested in sports would be, if you are passionate about it, come to team C3 for training, and you will be transformed into achievers.
Signing up with C3 Racing for training was one of the best things I have ever done! Solvin, my coach has helped me achieve my goals so far and I love the training plans that are customized to suit my capabilities and availability. He makes it fun and enjoyable to train and he is very motivating and encouraging!
A random meeting with Solvyn changed my whole perspective towards training. He taught me all about training blocks, the importance of nutrition and having a scientific approach towards training.
I picked up Cycling as a way to reduce weight that I gained after breaking my spine. From 70 Kg I went up to over 100 KG. I started off as any budding cyclist would do with a normal bike going around a few places. I did manage to cut down a few kilos now and then but didn’t get the desired results. My ambitions for doing more miles pushed me towards doing BRMs but I struggled to complete the ultra long distances. That’s when I got introduced to C3 Racing led by Solvyn. I was once told that this is an invite only club and they are all racers. I just took 1 ride to get to know the friendly bunch.
Solvyn helped me to understand why I was struggling to finish long distances and why I couldn’t lose more weight and I enrolled in a systematic training plan . Over the course of the next 8 months. I managed to get my body weight to about 72, I completed a full SR series, LRM TRM ( 1000 KMS) and LRM chennai ( 1200 ) KMS. Finished runner up in Tour of thekkady first edition which is a 160 KMS climb race. This is for me a super achievement as I used to find ways to avoid bridges in highways. There is no day that any of us in C3 takes it for granted as every day is a new challenge. C3 is also the only club that follows a systematic training schedule for the entire team.
